We begin with a listening process through Sacred Conversations in our individual congregations. Throughout these Sacred Conversations, people answer the question, "What community problem makes you angry?" During this process, we hear personal testimonies of the ways injustices affect our neighbors.
Then, we move to the research process. After narrowing our focus to a couple of issues raised during the listening process, individuals invested in the process are invited to join together to learn more about the problems. During this part of the cycle, we look for proven solutions other communities have used and propose solutions to the larger network.
Following the research, the network comes together for the action process. This is the culmination of almost a year of work in which we unite our voices at the Nehemiah Action Assembly to call on our elected officials to make changes for the sake of justice.
Finally, we celebrate our wins and drive investments in the organization on both a personal and institutional level.
You are invited to our four key events: the Annual Assembly, Rally, Nehemiah Action, and Justice Ministry Celebration.
